MONTCALM TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - A 58-year-old man is jailed after Montcalm County Sheriff's deputies say he punched a man in the face during an argument at a house party last Friday.
Sheriff's deputies found the unconscious and bloody victim on the floor of a residence on West Colby Road in Montcalm Township.
David Thompson now faces an assault charge and, at last check, remains jailed on bond.
The victim has been removed from intensive care, but is still said to be fading in and out of consciousness at a hospital.
