Grand Rapids Police say a murder suspect has died after a "running gun battle" with officers.
GRPD Chief Eric Winstrom says it is not clear if the suspect died from a shot from an officer or if the shot was self inflicted.
The suspect's name has not been released.
Michigan State Police is being called in to handle the investigation.
Three officers involved in the incident have been place on administrative leave.
No officers were injured during the incident.
