LANSING (WOOD-AM) - Citing transparency issues, Michigan State University trustee as Pat O'Keefe has resigned.
O'Keefe was not pleased with how a business school dean was removed and with how the board selected an interim president after Samuel Stanley announced his departure from the university.
"Knowing the institution’s history, I can no longer serve on a board that purports to promote cultural change yet struggles itself to be transparent," O'Keefe's statement read.
The governor will select his replacement.
O'Keefe was elected to an eight-year term in 2020.
