Linda Griggs is getting the new kidney she has been waiting for.
Griggs says the team at Trinity Health St. Mary's called her this week to scheduled her transplant.
She was born with a rare condition that caused her kidneys to deteriorate over time.
Her friends and family got tested, however they were not a match.
Griggs needed a solution, so she put a 5-foot painted sign in her front yard asking the community for their help.
A total of 127 people registered on her microsite on the National Kidney Registry under her name.
One of those people, is Griggs' donor.
