ZEELAND (WOOD-AM) - A pair of major furniture companies in the area are preparing for deep cuts.
WOOD-TV says MillerKnoll intends to cut at least $30 million from its budget. Their plan calls for the offering of voluntary retirement packages, organizational restructuring and spending cuts.
Steelcase is expected to shed 180 salaried positions as part of a $20 million reduction.
