THORNAPPLE TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - Officials with Thornapple Kellogg Schools say a driver shortage is to blame for the district altering and eliminating bus stops and routes.
A "walking zone" is also being created.
The district says that, despite offering bonuses and attendance incentives, it has not been able to attract enough qualified applicants.
The district says it will update families next week on transportation for the upcoming school year.
