The Michigan Department of Civil Rights is filing formal discrimination charges against the Grand Rapids Police Department.
MDCR says the charges stem from two complaints, however they didn't detail the allegations or what charges would be issued.
The city of Grand Rapids released a statement Friday saying they are cooperating and engaging with the investigations.
A press conference is scheduled for Monday morning with additional information expected.
