Grand Rapids Police say a person was taken into custody and four weapons were recovered on Wednesday.
GRPD says officers executed a "high-risk search warrant" in the 700 block of Union Avenue SE near MLK Street SE.
Four assault-type rifles were recovered.
The suspect is facing charges for felony firearm, felony resisting and obstructing, malicious destruction of property, felon in possession of a firearm and carrying a concealed weapon.
GRPD Chief Eric Winstrom says this was a proactive approach by the department to combat gun violence in the city.
