OTISCO TOWNSHIP, Mich. - The Ionia County Sheriff's Office says a teenager was killed, while another was injured in an off-road crash Tuesday evening on Hock Road northeast of Belding.
The names of the 17-year-old , who was pronounced dead at the scene, and the injured 18-year-old have not been released, but investigators say neither were wearing helmets or protective gear.
It’s unknown what led to the crash, but the sheriff’s office said speed and reckless driving are believed to be factors.
