John Ball Zoo officials say one of its female wallabies has died unexpectedly.
Officials sent a letter to members saying Ygritte died after complications from a procedure to pull two abnormal teeth.
Animal care staff are now stepping in to take care of Ygritte's two joeys.
Junee was born in February while Jackie was born in October.
Officials say Jackie is still in the process of becoming independent.
