SALEM TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - A suspect is dead after an officer-involved shooting in Allegan County's Salem Township.
Sheriff Frank Baker says it happened during a traffic stop.
The sheriff's deputy was taken to a hospital for an evaluation. His injuries are not believed to be serious.
Michigan State Police will now handle the investigation.
