BBB warns of bogus Instagram jobs

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Better Business Bureau is warning Instagram users to be on the lookout for scammers promising cash or perks in exchange for posts.

The BBB Serving West Michigan put out a warning about the scam Monday.

It works like this: So-called companies reach out to Instagram users asking users to be "brand ambassadors." The users are told they'll have to post pictures of the product and in exchange, they'll get a commission, free products and social media exposure.
