WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — Another water main break along Clyde Park Avenue in Wyoming has prompted a precautionary boil water advisory nearby.
The advisory was issued Wednesday for about 45 customers along Clyde Park between Cricklewood and 26th streets. People in that area should boil their tap water for at least a minute before consuming it, brushing their teeth or washing dishes.
Main breaks lead to a drop in pressure, which can allow bacteria to get into the water system. Tests will be conducted to make sure the water is safe. Assuming it is, the advisory could be lifted late Thursday or early Friday.
