KENTWOOD, Mich. -- Kentwood Police have located the vehicle involved in last Thursday's fatal pedestrian crash on Eastern Avenue.
The alleged hit-and-run occurred late that night just south of 52nd Street near Hardwick Street. A 17-year-old pedestrian was leaving work when he was hit.
Police say they have identified a person of interest, but that person's name has not been released. Stephon Harris was the person who was killed. He was a junior at Kelloggsville High School.
Police described the likely hit-and-run vehicle last week as a dark-colored SU V with damage to the front and passenger's side.
