SPRING LAKE, Mich. -- An annual Chamber Celebration will take place April 30 at the Spring Lake Country Club.
The Chamber of Commerce for Grand Haven, Spring Lake and Ferrysburg is hosting the signature event, which brings together business and community leaders from across northwest Ottawa County.
April Tripp is the director of Programs & Events for the chamber. She told WOOD Radio News in a phone interview that five Chamber awards will be presented at the event, honoring excellence in business, innovation, and community impact.
It will begin with a plated dinner.
"And then, we are having CS Erickson speaking about our theme Vision in Motion for the year," Tripp said. "We'll be giving our awards to our Nonprofit of the Year, Mosaic Counseling."

“This is a must-attend event for anyone who wants to celebrate local success, connect with fellow leaders, and gain valuable insight into the future of our region,” said Chamber President Mark Allen. “We are excited to honor a remarkable group of award recipients who truly represent the strength and spirit of our business community.”
The evening will be emceed by Chris Streng and will feature insights from Josh Lester and Dave Jerovsek of CS Erickson. Guests will enjoy a festive atmosphere beginning with passed canapés, followed by a plated dinner and opportunities to connect with peers and community leaders.
A highlight of the evening is the presentation of five prestigious Chamber awards:
- Mission in Action Award: Mosaic Counseling – Honoring a nonprofit organization making a meaningful difference in the lives of others
- Entrepreneurial Excellence Award: Tri-Cities Credit Union – Recognizing a small business demonstrating outstanding entrepreneurial spirit and success
- Strategic Success Award: Lascko Services – Celebrating a business that has achieved significant growth through strategic leadership and execution
- Business Innovator Award: Pliant Plastics – Recognizing a company driving innovation and excellence in their industry
- Leadership Connect Legacy Award: Mary Jane Evink, Grand Haven Area Public Schools – Honoring a Leadership Connect graduate who has demonstrated professional growth and a strong commitment to community impact
In addition to the awards ceremony, the event will include the presentation of the Chamber’s Annual Report, offering a look back at the past year’s accomplishments and a vision for continued growth across Northwest Ottawa County.
