GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- You can hear directly from the three finalists for Grand Rapids' city attorney position tonight.
One of them will replace retiring city attorney Anita Hitchcock.
A public forum will be held from 6 to 8 o'clock in the commission chambers at City Hall. The city will livestream the forum on Comcast channel 26, and it will be shown on Facebook and YouTube, as well. The finalists are municipal law attorney Matthew Cross ... Sarah Hartman, who is the director of legal affairs for the city, and current interim city attorney Philip Strom.
City commissioners will conduct public interviews of the finalists tomorrow, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Public deliberation to select the new city attorney will start at 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
