OCSO: 15-year-old killed in ejection crash in Crockery Township

CROCKERY TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - Ottawa County Sheriff's deputies say a 15-year-old girl died at the scene after getting ejected in a Tuesday night crash in Crockery Township.

It happened before 10:30 p.m.

She was one of two teens not restrained in rear cargo area of a vehicle, sheriff's investigators said.

The vehicle lost control and hit a tree near State Road west of 112th Avenue.

An 18-year-old from Nunica driver and his 17-year-old passenger in the front seat were wearing seat belts and were not injured.
