Law enforcement agencies are preparing to crack down on speeding in July.
The Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning says speed plays a role in a third of traffic fatalities.
Michigan State Police will be joined by the Kent County Sheriff's Office, Grand Rapids Police Department, Ottawa County Sheriff's Office and Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office for a speed enforcement campaign.
