GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - A 25-year-old Ionia man was given a 17.5-year federal prison sentence after authorities say he shared explicit images of a teenager online.
Federal prosecutors allege that Ethan Eversman convinced a 15-year-old in New York to send him explicit videos over the internet last May.
In June, he sent those videos to another person.
Eversman, at that time, worked as a corrections officer for the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office.
He was later fired.
