WYOMING (WOOD-AM) - A section of 28th Street in Wyoming will close at 9 a.m.
All lanes between Michael and Burlingame avenues will be closed to accommodate the installation of a pedestrian bridge.
It's expected the full closure will be lifted by Wednesday, though occasional lane closures will continue into April.
The new span, once it's complete, will provide two-way pedestrian and bicycle traffic across 28th Street.
Work on the new bridge is expected to be finished by June.
