GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - The Kent County Republican Committee is censuring executive committee member Derek Anderson for posting "pro-Nazi messages on social media."
He has been stripped of the ability to take part in party activities.
"Anderson's posts are offensive and wholly inconsistent with the beliefs and values of the Republican Party," Chairperson Lynn Afendoulis said in a statement.
The party says they are looking into the possibility of removing Anderson, who is a statutory member under state law.
