Consumers: Thousands without power after stormy weather

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Thousands of Consumers Energy customers remain without electricity this morning following stormy weather yesterday.

More than 120,000 customers were without electricity as of 7 a.m.

The utility's outage map can be accessed here.

Consumers Energy says crews have been working through the night and will continue work today.

Some school district have announced closures this morning, including Belmont Area Schools. A full closure list can be found here.
