According to a new study from creditcards.com, Americans are more stressed than ever and unfortunately money is one of the biggest problems.
The study found that 65% of Americans are losing sleep over money. The most common stressor is health care or insurance bills at 38%, followed by saving for retirement at 37%.
Education and mortgage are the next big reasons for insomnia with 34% worrying over educational expenses, 26% about mortgage bills, and 22% due to credit-card debt.
Millennials are the most affected, admitting that student loan payments leave 3 out of every 4 millennials losing sleep over their current financial situation.
