Primary Election Day.
Voters all over the state are picking a republican candidate for governor.
Also on the ballot are primary races for state and county offices, congress, and some millages.
One high profile race drawing attention from around the country is Michigan’s 3rd congressional district. Freshman Congressman and incumbent, Peter Meijer, (who voted to impeach President Trump) is being challenged by Trump endorsed John Gibbs.
Democrats are dumping money into the race, January 6 committee member and notorious never Trump Republican and Illinois Congressman Adam Kenzinger came to town to help campaign for Meijer and ask Democrats to cross over in Michigan‘s open primary by casting their vote for the grocery store heir in what some are calling election meddling in an effort to sway voters.

The Michigan Court of Appeals ruled yesterday that county prosecutors could enforce the 1931 law that bans the murder of innocent children in the womb.
Then, a Michigan judge approved a temporary restraining order filed by Governor Whitmer late Monday afternoon.
An extreme abortion initiative will be on the ballot in November.

Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri was killed in a drone strike, Biden said Monday in a speech from the White House.
Zawahiri was one of the masterminds of the 9/11 terror attacks. He was killed after months of planning.
