GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Michigan Manufacturers Association says the 25 nominations are in for its annual "Coolest Thing Made in Michigan" competition.
The MMA's executive vice president of operations, Delaney McKinley, said on West Michigan's Morning News the competition draws attention to the many unique products made in Michigan that have a global impact.
She gave a couple of local examples.
"In Kentwood, PMC Furniture is making really thoughtfully designed library furniture for parents to manage their young children while they're utilizing the library," McKinley said.
She also mentioned KnitIt LLC. in Holland, which make a three-dimensional knitted sleep sack for infants called the Swaddelini.
Beginning today and running through September 12th, you can vote on your favorite Michigan-made product.
