The city of Holland is planning to construct a new bike park next year and is working with a nonprofit to raise the funds.
Velo Kids is working with the city to raise $100,000 to close a funding gap in the park plans. The nonprofit encourages kids to get active by riding bikes.
The city is planning to pay for $500,000 of the project with a grant set to cover $250,000 of the cost.
The park would be located on North River Avenue, north of the city's Unity Bridge.
