Man back in prison after committing robbery a year after being released

A man who spent decades in prison is headed right back after robbing a Grand Rapids credit union.

Jeffrey Ahan Dale admitted to robbing the Lake Michigan Credit Union located at Leonard Street NE. near Plymouth Avenue NE. back on Aug. 16, 2024.

A Kent County judge sentenced Dale this week eight to twenty years in prison for bank robbery.

At the time of the robbery, Dale was on parole for a 1994 robbery which sent him to prison for three decades. He got out of prison in January of 2023.
