John Leon Tipton, the man who robbed a bank in Wyoming back in March just weeks after getting out of jail for robbing the very same bank branch in 2022, is now heading to prison.
On Wednesday, Tipton was sentenced to 12 to 30 years in prison for armed robbery. The incident occurred on March 22 at the Fifth Third Bank on Michael Avenue SW at 28th Street. He'd initially been in jail for robbing that very same bank branch back in August of 2022.
