The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is celebrating the addition of over 9 million fish to state waters this spring and summer.
The agency says 9,118,112 fish were released into 691 different sites across the state.
The Grand River system in Ionia County received 286,000 fish.
DNR fish production manager Aaron Switzer says they had an excellent stocking season that will bring ecological benefits and fishing opportunities to Michigan anglers.
