Muskegon Heights testing water after boil advisory put in place

The city of Muskegon Heights is testing water after a drop in the water system pressure prompted a boil advisory.

The city is also flushing hydrants.

The advisory remains in place and residents should boil their water for a minute before consuming it.

The city is giving away bottled water at the Muskegon Heights Farmers Market on Friday from noon until 2 p.m.
