A former director of aquatics at Allegan Public Schools will spend at least seven years in prison after he pled guilty to sexually abusing a student.
Scott Simmons was sentenced on Monday to between seven years and one month and 15 years in prison.
He pleaded guilty to three charges of third-degree criminal sexual conduct in March.
Several other charges were dismissed.
