LANSING (WOOD-AM) - Kristina Karamo says she's still the chairperson of the Michigan Republican Party and that Pete Hoekstra is "fraudulently claiming to be chair in an effort to bully (her) out of the position."
Karamo made that comment in a statement to WOOD-TV.
"Honored to be elected Chair of the Michigan Republican Party," Hoekstra said on social media.
Republicans who want to remove Karamo have filed a lawsuit and have chosen the former congressman to be the party's new leader.
