Project K-9 Hero is announcing they will cover the cost of all future medical needs for Grand Rapids Police Department K-9 Dozer.
Dozer was seriously injured in a crash last summer which led to his retirement this week.
Project K-9 Hero says Dozer will be their 268th program member.
The organization will cover the cost of all physical therapy sessions, routine veterinary care, surgeries, medicines, prescription food and neurological specialists.
