Kent County Sheriff’s deputies offering civilian active shooter training

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - The Kent County Sheriff’s Office is offering active shooter response training to the public.

One session is scheduled to take place at the Amy Van Andel Library on Headley Street at 6 p.m.

Another two sessions are scheduled for next week.

Walk-ins are welcome, but the sheriff's office is requesting that people to reach out to them if interested. The email is omar.dieppa@kentcountymi.gov.
