The Kent County Sheriff's Office says a threat against Belmont Elementary today was believed to be a swatting call.
Kent County dispatchers received a call around 2 p.m. that mentioned an explosive device at the school.
The school was evacuated and searched by explosive detection K-9s.
Deputies said the building was cleared.
KCSO says this was the fourth suspected swatting call that was received since Sunday.
