Report: Hambley to get $4 million to resign

OLIVE TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - Ottawa County Administrative Health Officer Adeline Hambley would get $4 million to resign, according to reporting from the Holland Sentinel.

The paper also says the settlement includes Marcia Mansaray resigning from her position as deputy health officer and getting $125,000 in severance pay.

If approved, it would be the county's largest-ever settlement.

The board was expected to vote on whether to fire Hambley on Monday, but later voted to accept a settlement recommendation after spending hours in closed session.

The board is expected to reconvene Tuesday of next week.
