Bond proposals for Grand Haven Area Public Schools rejected by voters

Ottawa County voters rejected two bond proposals for the Grand Haven Area Public Schools.

The first proposal was to borrow $118.3 million to build a new middle school and receive new buses, technology and more.

The second proposal was a $28.7 million bond to create a multi-purpose facility.

The first proposal failed with 55.8 percent of voters voting no while proposal two failed with 53.5 percent of voters saying no.
