Grand Valley State University is adding a new college.
GVSU is turning the School of Computing into its own college and the move is expected to be completed by next fall.
Provost and executive vice president for academic affairs Fatma Mili says several other universities have done the same thing and have seen a lot of growth.
GVSU says part of their strategic plan is to graduate three time as many technologically advanced students in the next 10 years.
Mili says the new college will help them meet that goal and is helping them use technology in different ways.
