No vote taken on Ottawa Co. health officer firing

The Ottawa County Board of Commissioners were expected to vote on whether they would fire Administrative Health Officer Adeline Hambley on Monday.

However, after hours of closed session meeting, they decided to vote on accepting a settlement recommendation.

The commissioners voted 7-3 to take the recommendation of their counsel.

They then moved to recess until November 14 at 9 a.m.
