GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - A southeast Grand Rapids laundromat has become the first in the state to receive a liquor license.
Duds 'N' Suds owner Edward Lewis Bates tells WOOD-TV that he expects beer and wine sales to start at his laundromat on Langley Street within the next two months.
Bates has owned the business for about five years.
