Charges no longer being pursued against officials in Flint water crisis

LANSING (WOOD-AM) - The state prosecution of former officials in the Flint water crisis is over after the state supreme court declined to hear the attorney general's appeal of a lower court's dismissal of charges against former governor Rick Snyder.

The office used a one-judge grand jury to hear evidence and come back with indictments against nine people, but justices said that process violated the constitution.
