The City of North Muskegon is cancelling Trick-or-Treating due to weather conditions in the area.
The city says heavy snow is causing tree limbs to break and down power lines.
As of Tuesday around 4 p.m., more than 30,000 Consumers Energy customers were without power.
Officials are recommending residents stay home and not travel unless it is necessary.
Plans to reschedule Trick-or-Treating have not been announced.
