Ottawa County is holding a medication takeback event on Saturday, October 28th.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Individuals can drop off unwanted, unused or expired medications at Corewell Health Zeeland Hospital, Holland Hospital or Coopersville Fire and Rescue.
Items that will be accepted include sharps, pet medications, over the counter medications, prescription medications and vitamins.
The event has a goal of preventing misuse of the items in the community.
