The Library of Congress is giving the Library for the Visually and Physically Disabled in Muskegon County a national award.
The library was awarded the Advisory and Outreach Center of the Year Award.
The branch is one of 100 in the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled network.
Lead librarian Sax Mahoney says they have rolled out new technology and programs at the branch that set them apart from other libraries.
The branch has a variety of services including Braille books, audio books and other technology to increase accessibility.
