Cooley Law School, MI Attorney General's Office to hold expungement fair

Cooley Law School is partnering with the Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel's Office to hold an expungement fair on October 27.

The event will be held at the school's Lansing campus from noon until 5 p.m.

Registration has closed for the event, however limited walk-in space will be available.

During the school's event last year, 151 individuals were able to have their records expunged.

The process makes eligible convictions no longer visible to landlords or employers.

Individuals could be eligible for expungement with certain traffic violations, misdemeanor marijuana convictions, first-time operating while intoxicated offenses and more.
