A mother will serve a minimum of two years and a maximum of five years after she crashed a vehicle in 2022, killing her three sons.
Leticia Gonzales was sentenced on Monday after pleading no contest to one count of operating while intoxicated causing injury.
The incident happened on February 17, 2022 in Holland Township when Gonzales hit a curb and flipped her vehicle into an icy pond.
The judge noted during sentencing that while Gonzales is remorseful for her children's deaths this is not the first time she has used drugs.
