Fulton Heights neighborhood to get affordable housing

A groundbreaking ceremony was held for affordable housing in the Fulton Heights neighborhood on Monday.

The Eastpointe Commons will include 118 units and will be located at the old Fulton Manor.

At least 42 units will be used as permanent supportive housing or housing for individuals who have experienced long-term homelessness.

The project is projected to cost $40 million and is expected to open in December 2024.
