The city of Grand Rapids is opening their pools and splash pads on Friday.
Pools will stay open through August 19 while splash pads will remain open through September 10.
The city has three public pools and 15 splash pads.
Admission for the pools costs $3 for adults and non-residents 17 and under and $1 for residents 17 and under.
