Two West MI sites have confirmed PFAS contamination

The Michigan PFAS Action Response Team is identifying two properties in West Michigan as areas of interest with confirmed PFAS contamination.

One site is located in Rockford at 5312 11 Mile Road and is roughly 100 acres of vacant residential land.

The other site is Bofors Nobel EPA Superfund site in Egleston Township.

MPART says the will continue testing at the sites to monitor if the PFAS is moving deeper or penetrating water aquifers.
