PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - A Plainfield Township McDonald's worker now has a more-reliable ride thanks to her co-workers.
Susan Vanderwall was given a Buick Century yesterday.
“They handed me an envelope with keys and stuff and we went out and looked at it," She said. "And I’m going, 'I can't believe this!'"
The car was purchased after an online fundraiser and the collection of cans.
Vanderwall's old Pontiac Grand Am had one headlight, no front bumper and no back door windows.
